So we are bringing you the easiest, safest and quickest way to experience Cozumel’s wonders in a professional in a fun for the whole-family environment.

Once you arrive at Sunset Beach you will be met by our experienced Snorkeling guides who will give you a moment to change into you bathing suit and prepare yourself. You will receive a comprehensive orientation on how to snorkel, what you will see and an explanation on Cozumel’s living reef system. You will also be introduced to Sunset Beach’s very own reef balls which have been placed to attract even more life than what the island already offers. These reef balls are endorsed by Coral Reef Alliance & Cozumel's Reefs National Marine Park so you will support a member of our local community by participating in this tour. After your orientation a certified Snorkel guide will get in the water with you and guide you through the snorkeling site. You will be constantly supervised so the whole family can enjoy this tour. After your snorkel you will have all the amenities available to you for your consumption. From massage on the beach, bar with a view to a Mexican restaurant and gift shop. Our Palancar Express Snorkel Tour is the best way for you to see and visit two of the most exciting and vibrant snorkeling reefs on Cozumel Island.

This tour is a 3 hour tour that is both safe and exhilarating. Meeting time at the dive shop is 12.45pm, tour departs at 1pm everyday as long as we reach the minimum of guests required to run the tour (6 snorkelers).

Your tour begins at our Snorkeling Center where you will be fitted with comfortable fins, snorkel life vest and a water tight high quality silicone mask. You will be given a snorkel whose curved design makes for easy breathing. Once you have all your gear you will be escorted to our private pier where our specialized snorkeling boat awaits. Captain, Crew and professional dive master will welcome you onboard. You will be traveling on our specialized 37 foot snorkeling boat. This vessel has a bathroom and shade for your comfort. Once you are all seated your Captain will start the engines and away you go!

On the 20 minute boat ride to the reef your professional Dive Master will give his/her Snorkel briefing where you will learn about the formations, fish, coral and sea life you may encounter.

First Time snorkeling? No problem! All beginners appreciate the thorough instruction and close supervision in the water.
Just stay close to your Snorkel guide as they will be looking for all the fabulous underwater life to point out for you. If you need to take it easy, no problem, there is so much to see you may go at your pace.
Our snorkel excursion will be visiting the famous Colombia Shallows Reef followed by Palancar the most renowned snorkeling site on Cozumel Island.

Your day will wind down with a cool ride back enjoying the view of the coastline as you head to the Sand Dollar Sports Pier and the comfort of your resort.
